This policy explains what information The Full Cost (published by Vitalitas LLC) does and doesn't collect when you visit. We've written it to be accurate to how the site works today, and to describe features that may be activated later so it still holds when they are.
What we collect
We don't ask you for personal information. The site has no accounts, sign-ups, or contact forms. The calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to us or stored on a server. We set no analytics or tracking cookies of our own.
Two technical exceptions are worth naming:
- Hosting logs. The site is served through Cloudflare, our hosting and content-delivery provider. As with virtually all web infrastructure, it automatically logs basic request data — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and reliability. This is standard server logging, not a profile we build about you.
- Web fonts. Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and standard request information as part of serving them. We don't control Google's handling of that request; see Google's privacy policy for details.
Cookies & advertising
Today we don't run ads and we set no advertising cookies. If we add advertising in the future — for example, Google AdSense — that may change. Ad providers like Google use cookies and similar technologies to serve and, where applicable, personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites. If and when that happens, we'll update this policy, and where required we'll present a consent choice before such cookies are set. You can review Google's ad personalization in Google's Ads Settings, and manage third-party advertising cookies through industry tools such as aboutads.info.
Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links. When affiliate partners are active, clicking an affiliate link may let that partner set or read a cookie to attribute the referral. This doesn't give us additional personal information about you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how these links work and how they're kept separate from our analysis.
Third parties
The third parties that may receive data, as described above, are: Cloudflare (hosting and CDN — request logs), Google Fonts (font delivery), and, if activated later, Google AdSense and affiliate partners. Each handles any data it receives under its own privacy policy.
